This place was once used as an airfield for an experimental prototype of helico-plano (hybrid between a plane and a helicopter), complete with a control tower. The green area was equipped for various functions: area for outdoor performances and events, multipurpose sport court, exhibition pavilion and classroom dedicated to the aviation pioneer G.Moncher, natural play area for children, parking area.
